We believe each child has the right to an outstanding Physical Education programme, providing the foundations for lifelong participation in physical activity and/or sport. We aim to develop and improve pupils’ attitudes towards both participation and competition through regularly timetabled PE lessons and extra-curricular activities.
At Thames View, we work to ensure that all pupils:
- Develop competence to excel in a broad range of physical activities
- Are physically active for sustained periods of time
- Engage in competitive sport and activities
- Lead healthy, active lives

Reception | Reception do not discretely follow the scheme as physical development is immersed in their daily learning. However they use the units in the scheme to teach areas that the children need. | |||||
